LEO 2The Space Flight Laboratory (SFL) is partnered with Space Systems Loral (SSL) to develop a Ka-band communications satellite for Telesat Canada, one of the worlds’ leading telecommunications satellite operators.
M3MSatThe Maritime Monitoring and Messaging Microsatellite (M3MSat) is intended to build upon the success of Nanosatellite Tracking of Ships (NTS), provide operational Automatic Identification System (AIS) detection for the Canadian government, and contribute to commercial ship tracking services. Ships over a certain size are required to carry...
MOSTThe MOST (Microvariability and Oscillations of STars) astronomy mission under the Canadian Space Agency's Small Payloads Program is Canada's first space science microsatellite and Canada's first space telescope.
NEMO-AMThe NEMO (Nanosatellite for Earth Monitoring and Observation) bus is the next evolution to the Generic Nanosatellite Bus (GNB) technology and provides a foundation for future high-performance nanosatellites from the Space Flight Laboratory (SFL).
NEMO-HDNEMO-HD is a high performance multispectral earth-observation microsatellite (65 kg) currently in development by the University of Toronto Institute for Aerospace Studies – Space Flight Laboratory (UTIAS – SFL) for the Slovenian Centre of Excellence for Space Sciences and Technologies (Space-SI).
NORSAT-1NORSAT-1 is based on SFL’s next-generation satellite bus, which offers fine attitude control, high power generation, and high downlink rates. This next generation bus—referred to as the NEMO platform—straddles the border between a nanosatellite and a small microsatellite, and represents the next evolution in microsatellite miniaturization.
